During one of our erudite conversations around the studio dining table, my mentors, Master Artists David Milne and Robin Stewart, introduced me to the term 'High Bohemia'.
Working in Architecture, I was surrounded by forward-thinking creatives, many deep discussions around the lunch table, challenged opinions and perspectives – a synergy of the avant-garde, of the possible, of aesthetics and of life.
Perhaps this is why the concept of 'High Bohemia' instantly resonated with me – discussions on culture, shared alternative beliefs, free-thinking, a creative lifestyle. It's about curating your own version of luxury - collecting moments, artworks, and beautiful objects that speak to your soul. This conscious approach to living by your desires instead of conforming to social norms creates its own kind of abundance, where creativity and prosperity naturally unfold.
For 30 years, I've surrounded myself with Artists of all descriptions, Architects, Designers, Eccentrics, Healers, Musicians, Academics and the curious, people who challenge conventional thinking, envelop themselves in culture and design, they relish in wisdom and take life on.
'High Bohemia' – elevates the Artist to their rightful stature: limitless, innovative, creators of culture, breaking free from the impoverished, drunk, Artist Archetype. This exhibition is designed to inspire your creativity, show you how to create environments that speak to your imagination and ideals of indulgence, celebrating beauty in everyday life.
Welcome to the wonder world of 'High Bohemia'.
